Terms of Service

Effective date: July 12, 2026

1. Acceptance

These Terms govern your use of the EduLink school dismissal and pickup platform and its mobile app and web portals (the "Service"), operated by GuardianLink ("we," "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Accounts and eligibility

Accounts are provisioned through invitations from a participating school. You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and are responsible for activity under your account. The Service is intended for parents, guardians, and school staff; it is not directed to children.

3. Acceptable use

• Use the Service only for lawful dismissal, pickup, and school-communication purposes.
• Do not impersonate another person or attempt to pick up a student you are not authorized to collect.
• Do not attempt to access accounts, data, or systems you are not authorized to access, or interfere with the security or operation of the Service.
• Do not upload unlawful, infringing, or harmful content.

4. Student information and schools

Student information within the Service is managed on behalf of the participating school. Your access to student information is limited to the students you are authorized to pick up. Schools control student records and may modify permissions or remove access. Where a separate agreement between GuardianLink and a school addresses student data, that agreement governs the handling of student data.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of the information you submit (for example, your profile and ID documents). You grant us the limited right to store and process it to operate the Service, as described in the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you submit.

6. Account deletion and suspension

You may delete your account at any time from within the app. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms or at a school's direction. Deletion is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. The Service supports, but does not replace, a school's own dismissal procedures and staff judgment. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, including delivery of notifications.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GuardianLink will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above and, where appropriate, by notice within the Service. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
